Universal Security has successfully conducted more than 1400 security missions throughout Iraq and has provided in-country training for more than 1,000 security personnel for U.S. government agencies, the Government of Iraq, and multi-national private corporations. The following is a synopsis of some the solutions we've provided clients.

Universal's Project Management Office in Kurdistan is intimately familiar with all aspects of contract compliance, Iraq's Minister of Interior (MOI), program regulations and directives, and asset management. Our team of American and local Iraqi nationals ensures quality assurance of our Iraqi missions by managing every aspect of contractual services, including ensuring asset protection and loss prevention, providing risk management and abatement, and internal audits and reporting.
In Iraq, we provide the following security services throughout the country:
Personal Security Detail (PSD)—Protection for executives and key personnel, and training for client PSD personnel.
Close Personal Protection (CPP)—Also known as bodyguard services, Universal provides CPP to all ranks from high-level executives to key personnel.
Security/CPP Training—Universal conducts CPP training for CPP personnel of other organizations and government agencies.
Convoy Security Detail—We safely and securely provide mobile security escorts for supply convoys of all sizes moving within Iraq, and across the borders of Iraq into Jordan, Turkey, and Kuwait.
Life Support—Resident set up, security detail and sustainment for expatriates and local nationals.
Static Security for Fixed Assets—Universal protects infrastructure facilities, such as warehouses, supply depots, fixed equipment sites, hotels and resident villas for expatriates and U.S. government officials. We also conduct basic and sustainment training for guard forces, which includes weapons training, guard procedures, communications, reporting, and first aid.
Logistics Services—International customs services, client asset, secure transport services.
Universal Security securely distributes equipment, material and supplies within the country of Iraq in support of U.S. Department of State projects. Commercial Convoy and Convoy Escort Security services are provided on an on-call availability in accordance with mission requirements.
Our work include:
Convoy Escort Services—Provide roundtrip freight delivery (trucking) services, and Convoy Escort services for commercial convoys. We provide all trucks, trailers, and drivers to perform the trucking services, as well as all security vehicles and security personnel necessary to protect the Commercial Convoys, including:
- Year long daily service for individual convoys of up to twenty (20) transport vehicles, as well as multiple multi-vehicle and concurrent convoys.
- Personnel with demonstrated experience in logistics and convoy security; and
- All the necessary transport equipment, personnel and vehicles to carry out these tasks.
Logistics Services—Universal Security was the prime contractor for the Multi-National Security Transition Command-Iraq (MNSTC-I). Our responsibilities were to provide secondary transportation and/or security for a variety of vehicles and equipment for the Iraqi military forces to various sites within Iraq. Universal oversaw the movement of vehicles and soldiers' equipment to numerous cities and other military sites as well as IPS station locations. The contract included movement of equipment and vehicles from many sites within the borders of Iraq, Kuwait and Jordan.
